Were the Crusades truly human or truly holly?
There are no perfect causes or perfect systems that are stainless from the blood of sin. Crusaders were not exempt from rape or plunder.
Crusaders were at home when cooking and eating Mohammedans, because Crusaders objectified them as demons praying to a warrior god. One food critic on his first crusade gave heathen-flesh a Zagat Rating, "This is better than spiced peacock."
